RIFFS™ is an automated set of handheld tools that an operator uses to select and adhere a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) dot over an installed fastener head, melt and compress the TPU dot into the fastener cavity, and remove excess TPU material until flush with the aircraft surface.
